I had previously seen it onboard Oasis of the Seas in 2014 and remember it being hilarious, especially the cast's ability to improv with the technical difficulties. In fact, I found trying to squeeze everything in to be a bit overwhelming (totally worth it, though!). Unlike on Harmony of the Seas, which I sailed on back in 2018, I did not have to leave the Solarium to take a dip in the pool. Unless, that is, I wanted to take advantage of the other amenities, such as the Perfect Storm waterslides. Besides the sheer size of the 228,081 gross registered ton vessel, here are some more reasons why I loved sailing onboard Symphony of the Seas.
Order Some Cocktails In Binary At The Bionic Bar

Soak up the thrills on all The Perfect Storm℠, the boldest waterslides at sea. Timing is everything in 1977, the latest adventure starring the time-traveling hero, Tempus. You'll never hear a playback in the Main Theater — a live orchestra accompanies every performance. The cheapest option will be a standard inside room; however, you can also select a virtual balcony stateroom or one with a window that overlooks the interior of the ship, whether that be the Boardwalk, Central Park, or Royal Promenade. Now, however, I am more focused on cruises with different itineraries. In June, I am going on my first-ever Europe and Mexican Riviera cruises, and I could not be more excited!
CRUISE SHIPSYMPHONY OF THE SEASREVIEWS
The certificate is not compulsory, but it shows the environmental commitment of the operator line Royal Caribbean International. Another interesting feature is that the hulls have a special non-toxic covering that minimizes friction and saves fuel. Relax, unwind and make yourself at home after a full day of adventure.
The Top 10 Things To Do Onboard Symphony Of The Seas
The ceremony was attended by Michael Bayley (RCI's President and CEO), Richard Fain (RCCL's CEO and Chairman) and Laurent Castaing (STX's General Manager). A new Adventure Ocean Theater show (named Away We Go!) was also announced for Symphony OTS. An additional part of the onboard kids' programming is the YouTube show "Muffalo Potato," teaching kids to draw anything using just letters and numbers. Also new and Symphony OTS exclusive is the Broadway musical show "Hairspray" - originally played on Oasis OTS (in 2014 replaced by "Cats").
TURN UP THE CARIBBEAN CRAZE
The staircase plays musical notes and each stair briefly lights up when stepping on it. Another special feature are the two secluded alcoves with lounge chairs (open-air, positioned on each side of the jogging track on Deck 5) where passengers can relax and enjoy the seaview. In comparison to the other Oasis-Class sisterships, Harmony and Symphony are heavier (by over 1700 tons), 3 meters wider, able to accommodate 100 more passengers. Symphony is nearly 330 ft (101 m) longer than RMS Titanic and 165 ft (50 m) longer than Eiffel Tower (Paris City).
HOOKED SEAFOOD℠
Because it has a little something for everyone, Symphony of the Seas attracts families of all kinds and people of all ages, with more kids onboard during summertime and school breaks. You can expect to find a mix of many nationalities, but primarily an English-speaking passenger mix of North Americans and Brits. The strong execution of these fresh ventures, along with their mass appeal, almost guarantees that Royal Caribbean has ensured a new generation of fleetwide favorites. Even better, half of the new venues (laser tag and El Loco Fresh) are included in the cruise fare.
Fans of thrilling onboard attractions should definitely challenge a friend to a speed test on The Perfect Storm waterslides — dueling high-speed racers that will send you twisting and turning down multiple levels. Each one features translucent stretches that offer up captivating sea views, so you can soak up the sights while experiencing an unparalleled surge of adrenaline. Rides on The Perfect Storm are totally included in your cruise fare and open to all guests. And in case you were wondering how the Symphony of the Seas compares to the Titanic – as many prospective passengers do – the Symphony’s passenger capacity is about 2.5 times the Titanic’s. In terms of size, the Symphony is almost 400 feet longer, 65 feet taller, and has nine decks more than the 1909 cruise ship. Comfortable king bed that can be converted into two single beds ,Relaxing armchair ,Spacious closet ,Bathroom with shower, vanity area and hairdryer ,Interactive TV.
Aside from the room we were in, there were a few more rooms on the ship. Since the seating are determined by the type of meal, I’m guessing those rooms are for guests who did not order the steak meal. Get to Hinode Pier 15 minutes before the cruising time to be on time for boarding! The ship leaves on time right on the dot and they will not wait for late passengers. The steel-cutting ceremony (shipyard/hull number B34) was on February 3, 2015, held at STX France shipyard (Saint-Nazaire, France).

On October 2, 2016, was the keel-laying ceremony, with which officially started the vessel's construction. During the ceremony, a 32 x 154-ft (10 x 47 m), 1000-ton keel block was lifted by a huge crane and placed into the shipyard's building dock. Newly minted coins were put under the keel and stayed there until the end of the vessel's construction. After the new vessel was near to completion, the coins were retrieved and presented to the Captain and crew to be placed on the ship. Central Park is an outdoor relaxation zone (within the ship's interior) with 20700+ live plants. Signage boards provide detailed info on all Central Park's trees and plants.

This ten story dry slide holds the record for tallest slide at sea, and it should definitely be on your list of must-try experiences onboard Symphony of the Seas. If you’re brave enough to take the plunge, you’ll enjoy a twisting, turning ride down 150-feet from the Sports Deck to the Boardwalk. For the lunch, afternoon, and sunset cruise, you can purchase discounted tickets for children aged 6-11. Small children 5 and below can be brought onboard for a further discounted fare, provided they don’t occupy any seats and don’t require food. However, for the dinner cruise, only children over 7 years old are allowed. The new Symphony of the Seas ship is a novelty mixture of Oasis-class deck layout and Quantum-class innovations.
